HealthApp was selected as finalist for the XIX Investors Forum in the Catalunya Empren Exhibit. HealthApp participated on the track of innovative Health Care Start-Ups on a 1 minute elevator pitch.
The main point of connection for entrepreneurs and investors in Catalonia.
It is the place where entrepreneurs and investors have the chance to network, get to know each other and to do business together, while they jointly analyse investment attraction and possibilities in different business initiatives.
At the same time, finalist entrepreneurs presented their projects to the public with the goal to get funding while investors could choose the best projects in which to invest. It is the perfect opportunity to find and to be found.
The Forum’s previous event attracted over 700 visitors, both entrepreneurs, private investors and venture capital funds. A prior selection of the 21 best projects were presented to over 150 private investors and representatives of venture capital funds.
The Investment Forum is one of the initiatives that contributed to seeing Catalonia recognised as a European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) in 2012, at the hands of the EU Committee of the Regions. This international award demonstrates the commitment of ACCIÓ with small and medium sized firms and with entrepreneurs as well as the Investment Forum’s capacity to stimulate alternative sources of financing and networking for the business community.
